Please Explain My Cable Bill!

One of the things I do to stay up on the industry is listen to podcasts. In fact, I hope I am capturing some of it subliminally because I listen to them even when I am working and writing – which means I tend to catch bits and pieces.

I just caught one that I thought you might be interested in: Leonard Lopate does a series for National Public Radio called Please Explain. He just did one on the cable bill, and it features Joel Kelsey as the guest. Joel is an Associate Policy Analyst for Consumers Union, and does a fair job of explaining aspects of the industry to listeners.

If you’re into podcasts, it’s a good series. This one is worth a listen if you’re new to the industry or just looking for a consumer perspective. You can find the audio here.
